Community Engagement In Nigeria’s Democratic Process

Abstract

This paper discussed the role of community engagement in Nigeria’s democratic process. It explored the different ways in which local and regional communities are participating in decisions about their nation’s governance and how these methods are influencing the broader political system. It discussed the benefits and potential strategies for promoting community engagement in Nigeria’s democratic process. It analysed the roles citizens adopt to make their voices heard and shape government policies. It further examined the challenges that are associated with community engagement in Nigeria’s democratic process and provided solutions to these challenges as well as suggestions for the advancement of community engagement in Nigeria’s democratic process.
