The issue of physical infrastructural, technical and medical supports that  needs to be available in any resilience society cannot be waived with ordinary hands, hence, should not be handled with levity by any government that knows its onions. Niger State Government provided these sustainable infrastructural medical facilities in the three rural hospitals under this study. The study was, therefore, put up to examine how the facilities provided are appropriate to handle the demands expected of them. Primary source of data was through literature review of related papers and observations. One hundred and sixty-five (165) respondents were purposively and randomly sampled for the study. Interview and Focus Group Discussions were used to elicit response from the respondents. The paper established insufficient health workers, especially in the rural areas. There was inadequate health education among the citizens, especially through the non-formal education approach. The paper, therefore, advocates the appointment of more health workers, establishment of rural clinics or mobile health centres, expansion of literacy centres and inclusion of health education into the curriculum of both formal and non-formal education as this will gear up sustainable health awareness among the people and improve infrastructural development across the state.
