This paper explores women empowerment and participation strategies for  sustainable community development in Nigeria. Throughout Nigeria’s history, women have played a significant role in societal development, with their contributions closely linked to the social, economic, and political progress of communities. Traditionally, women have been central to community life, yet their efforts are often overlooked or undervalued. Recognizing and harnessing the immense potential of women is essential to driving sustainable community development.
